Hope someone can help me on this problem...
I want to create a video file so that I can create a VCD by using nero. However, the problem i faced was that when i played it on the vcd player, the clip seems larger than the tv screen, thus hiding some titles that I have put in. My country is using NTSC system.
I have tried to create the video using mpeg vcd format and also tried reducing the aspect ratio to 4:3 but nothing seems to work. I have also read the manual and followed the specifications that are ideal for a televesion screen but to no avail. I have run out of ideas.
thank you to anyone out there.
MSP 7 dilemma
This is perfectly normal. The reason is called overscan. This must have been dealt with tens of time on this and other forums and a Search should find enough reading matter to keep you busy for a couple of hours.
Basically, TV sets never show the full picture for some very good technical reasons which you can find elsewhere. You must keep your titles at least 10%-15% in from the four edges of your frame.
