DVD created by V10 can't forward with more than 2x speed

Post by ben_lee_gz_cn »

Code: Select all

I download trial version of Video Studio 10,but after i create a DVD with the following options,i found it can neither forward with more than 2X speed(eg. 4X,6X,8X), nor backward with any speed. The problem doesn't exist in Video Studio 9 and 8.

I tried with following options when Create Disc:
DVD 4.7G
Preferences:
  TV System :PAL/SECAM
Project Settings --> Change MPEG settings
  General
     Frame Type: Frame-based
  Compression
     Video data rate:Variable 8000kbps
  Audio settings:
     Audio format: Dolby Digital audio
     Audio type: 2/0(L,R)
     Audio bit rate:256kbps

all the other options are default.

Does anyone else suffer this?

Hi Ben,

Why Frame Based for your field order? Frame based is generally used for pictures, and viewing on computers.

Did you capture analogue or DV? If the latter, your field order should be Lower Field First. For analogue video set your field order to Upper Field First.

I had just burned a disc using the trial version of VS10+, and did not have these problems.
