Hi Gang,
I am having some issues with DMF5 and was wondering if they are me specific or maybe come under the category of "bugs'
1: When I save a multimenu/multichapter menu file it does not save all the menus and much of the formatting information. Seems to save the template for the main menu(s) but looses all the submenu formatting stuff.
2: Why would there be options for things like selectable frames for your video thumbnails in the free version of DMF that came with MSP8 but none in the standalone version DMF5?
3: Why is there no way to add text to a template? If you want to add one more line anywhere on the template is there some way to do it I just dont see?
4: Is there a way to add an URL to a template?
I dont see any of this..or any references in the sparse manual. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sharing this problem too - but for ALL menus!

With my (german) version - it works. Double clicking on an image and selecting the frame I want - only problem is with the very 1st chapter of a project - it takes a picture some 1 or 2 second(s) before this one you chose ...

There isn't a method of including a URL into a DVD template.
The method employed by Sonic is to place a small program in the root of the DVD with an autorun command so that a small program runs first.
This is the same method used by many commercial DVD's where, if a DVD is placed into a computers DVD drive you get an option to install a well known but nuisance DVD player (InterActual)
The Sonic eDVD front end screen resembles a regular DVD Menu Screen to fool you into thinking its a part of the DVD.

Clarification
Ummm..Ok on the not being able to add an url. That would have been just "icing on the cake" anyway.
I am wondering though. When I bought my DMF5 online.. it came in two parts. One seems to be the program and one the content. How can I tell if my "content" really added in correctly? Is there some directory I can look in to see if all my "art" stuff etc. is there?
Thanks for the help.
And to Steve J. "Are you everywhere?" Just kiddin man.. thanks again.
