Are you using the demo version? If so, you can Download the User's Manual.
when i push the stop button, i want to go to the dvd menu
Uh, what stop button? You can link any of the on-screen buttons that you create to a menu. The stop button on the remote? I think my romote has a pause, but no stop.
what should i do on the editing ?
On the editing page, you drag-in your video clip(s), trim the clip(s), and set chapter points.
when i start from a blank page to create my menu how could i link the buttons with videos
In general, you create the buttons first, then you can link them by dragging something onto the button... a chapter from the chapter list, a clip from the time line, a menu from the menu list, etc.

1. Set the chapter points. Advance the video to where you want the chapter, then click "Create Chapter.
2. Create the buttons - Drag one of the standard buttons into the menu, or type-in text to be used as a button, or drag in an image to be used as a button.
3. Drag the item to be linked onto the button.

Stop Button

When you push the STOP button, the dvd usually stops playing (it is sometimes in the shape of a square on the button). Is that the button you want to hit to navigate to a menu?

Stop button

that STOP button will make playback STOP. I don't think you can control how it works -- have you seen a DVD that works the way you want it to?

Which LOOP do you need help with -- the LOOP for the MENU, or the LOOP in a button Playlist?

Loop

When you add the LOOP in the button playlist, everything inside the "Loop Start" and "Loop End" points should continually play.

Is it not working for you?
