Ulead Moviefactory crashes when I use certain .dat files!!!!

My first time on this forum here!
I have Uklead DVD moviefactory 3.5 for just two weeks, so I have not much experience with it.
I have some philippine videocds as DAT files on my pc and I try to add them in DVD moviefactory to make DVDs of them.
My CPU goes suddenly when I try to add them to 100%, and no reaction and I have to do restart Moviefactory......

maybe I thought well, change the dat file manually into a mpg maybe that will work but no....

Any other avi or mpg I have adds quickly.....and no problem at all..??

With Nero I can nake VCDs of without any hassle, can anyone tell me how this can happen?

I have 1 gb internal memory, so that shouldn't be the problem!

Who can help me out???

I've solved the problem, not even one program must be working together, so you have to shut off everything.
