Point an arrow to person in a Video

Post by jlinck »

I'm sure this is lame/simple, but I can't track down an easy answer. I am using Video Studio 8 (considering upgrading to VS 10 Plus), and have a bunch of home videos that I am editing. I want to be able to easily "highlight" a person in the video, say, by putting a big arrow on the screen that points to them for a few seconds. Can someone post me to the place that would tell me how to do that.
thanks.

Open the Decoration/Object folder and choose an arrow. You can then put that into the Overlay track and move it where you need it.

Are there supposed to be arrows in the Decoration/Object's folder? I'm now using VS10+ trial version. All I have is one named D01 that is a finger.

Hi Jlink,

You can access it through the pull down menu for your Libraries (Video, Filters, Transitions etc..). However if your TBYB version is like mine, you will only find the Hand in the Decorations. The arrow and more are included with the full version..
