Hi,
I have a 6.15GB AVI that I shot with Sony camera, downloaded to VideoStudio 8 just fine, cut into 25 individiual AVI files each ranging in size from 57MB to 383MB.
I used Batch Convert to convert each AVI to MPEG-2 and then posted those files to a website. Played fine for Windows but not for iMac v8.6 (using IE browser).
Any suggestions?
Well, I ended up Batch Converting AVI to MPEG-1 and now the videos play on an iMac but the files sizes are still quite large - 3.6MB to 25MB.
Any ideas on making the MPEG-1 files smaller for quicker downloads?
Thanks!

Also check VLC (VideoLAN Client) for the MAC..
Unfortunately, my viewing audience is a bunch of elementary-age school kids using the school's iMacs. I don't have any access to upgrade them.
I'm merely looking for tips using VideoStudio 8 to export ~25 video clips into a really small MPEG-1 format or some other readily viewable format for Netscape/IE for iMac v8.6
Any ideas? TIA!
