Post by 4nn4 »

Dear VS10 user,

I have installed my new full version of VS10 Plus. The software is works fine for me and have some good omprovement I think..

But I just found that my VS10 transition choices is not as complete as my prev VS9. I dont knot why and I dont want take this as a serious prob with the face I migh use some of it.

However is there any ways to add the VS9 transition into VS10 choice of transition? Can just we copy the (filename.vfx) in my (vfx_plug) in VS9 to VS10 vfx_plug folder to complete the transition?

I read about it in Softare Development Kit (SDK) Ulead.

Transition Effect
Installation
Copy thirdparty.vfx into VFX folder (vfx_plug).

Document
VFX50.doc

Samples
Files: vxeff.h

Thank you for your advice.

As a matter of interest, what transitions do you think are not in VS10+ but which _are_ in VS9?

Dear Berry,

Strange that I lack of Flashback, Mask transition and none of Album transition. Personally, I dont like Album transition too much... But I miss the Mask transition, which is will give a great flashback effect...

But Overlay track is very powerful.... Can makea more creative movie..

As far as I know, this option will not appear in trial version of the product while provide in full one... (except mine I guess....)

Thank you,

No -- I asked because I too think I have the full version of VS10+, yet like you, I also do not have any of the Album transitions, only 1 Flashback and two masks. I simply cannot find any others. Yet other people tell me they should be there! I also have tried the recommended method of transferring the VS9 transitions to VS10, but that does not work either. So I really wonder what is going on!

I order to see which version you got do as follow:
open the main program choce the editor
when it came up select from the right up of the panel the small ? from the menu that open select the about. you will see the version and build numbers. Please ask someone that got the Box version to do so and someone with the downloaded version and ask them to post it here.
Then we can see exactly which version we got !!!

Well, I can oly thinking to use VS9 mask and flashback transition (if needed for some clips) then saving the file/clips (in AVI format) then rework it again on VS10...

Not quite simple I guess, but at least maybe it's how ULEAD sold both of their product...??
