Gang,
I bought MSPro 8 yesterday and what I have seen so far I like! I really liked the feature that when you overlap video on a track it displays how much time you have overlapping, so you know how long the transition is. HOWEVER, I must have done something because it doesn't display that anymore

How do I get it back :?:

Thanks

It should work if your video has audio attached. If you have a video-only track, then I don't think it shows that overlap time in the little rectangle...

George

You can still see the overlap time by looking at the bottom right of the status bar.

When you do the overlap, pull it in on the audio track, not the video track.

In one older post (very older) I reported the same problem ( http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=10067 ). I never figured out why it did no longer work. I am sure, that I had seen it also while overlapping images, which had of course no audio, but later it did not even work with videos having audio. But now with the SP there are good news: it works again :) , but only for video, not for images :( .
I sent this allready to Ulead. Hope they will fix it til the final release of the SP. I dont see any reason, why it should not work also without audio.
Okay, I know, there are many different other ways to see the duration, but none is so comfortable.

When you have video and no sound you can see the overlap duration down here:
