A Tip of My Hat

Post by tv_news_guy »

Specifically a tip of the hat to Steve J.

Steve...I wanted to let you know that I owe you a beer (or three). First for all the help you and the other regs offer daily here at the forum, and secondly for your compositor files you shared with us all.
I am finishing an hour long video project and my client wanted the institutional video to roll right into a slide show at the end.
My problem was...the video was fast..slick and full of transitions... it looked really awkward just slamming it into the slow moving "heartwarming" slide show. I took a break and finally got around to installing the smart compositor files you uploaded a month ago. While I was playing with them.. lo and behold... the moving four... one established as the company logo at the end of my video and of the other three... the appropriate one became the first full screen slide in the slide show portion. Added a 4sec. med to slow music sting and Seamless man. THANK YOU.
If anyone would like to share their smart compositor files... know that there are those of us out there that really appreciate it. I know I am going to make a few as I work on new projects.. and I will gladly share them here.
Again.. thanks to steve... ron...devil....et al. You guys rock
