Runtime Error

Most times when I open VS9 I get a runtime error message, which only lasts for a few seconds. I then get a thin blue bar which looks as though VS9 is loading, then nothing. If I open VS9 again, it loads and runs normally.
It isn't much of problem, but it may be symptomatic of something more serious, can any give me some help please?
