Hello All!
I tried to buy the VideoStudio Version 10 upgrade via the Ulead online mall but haven't been successful. The problem is that when I get to the Shopping Cart section of the site I get asked (under 'Login Data') for my User ID, which is not known to me.
I thought my User ID might be my name or my email address but neither of those worked.
When I clicked on the "User data forgotten or unknown" link the email I subsequently got sent simply told me my password - not my User ID.
Unfortunately I can't buy the product unless I get this 'User ID' matter sorted out.
Any advice please?
Thanks!

Hi Patrick,
Since you are trying to buy the Upgrade, I'm assuming that you have purchased from Ulead before, correct? Was the last purchase and of course the one you are trying to make now, through Element5? If so there should be an option to use your email address and your credit card number. The credit card number should be the one you used previously.
You can also try using your email address, and add "-1" to the end of it, eg; myemail@yahoo.com-1. I have noticed on my previous purchases that Element 5 had accounts setup like that.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for your speedy reply Ron
I actually purchased Version 9 of VideoStudio from a retail store (in Sydney Australia), which I subsequently registered with Ulead.
I haven't heard of Element5.
And the "adding a 1 to the end of my email address" approach didn't produce the desired result.
It's only this darn 'Login Data / User ID' thing that's stopping me from buying Version 10 and it's getting mighty frustrating.
But thank you again for taking the time to reply.

Yes, since you purchased VS9 from a retail store, you would not have an account with Element5.
Try creating a new account with Ulead then, and see if you can purchase. You should still be able to buy at the upgrade price, providing you have the serial number handy for VS9. Then all VS10+ is going to do when you install, is ask for VS9 serial number...
