Problem with InstallSheild Wizard

Hi There, I am new now.

I am interesting with VideoStudio Plus 10 version with FREE TRIAL for 30 days. I have a problem with InstallSheild Wizard. It say ""The contents of the file cannot be upacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corupted. Please obtain another copy fot eh file, verify its integrity, and try again." What do I do? Can you help me? Thanks

Try doing the following:
Locate the downloaded exe file in Windows Explorer.
Right click and using winzip extract the exe file to a folder.
This in turn will extract various other files and folders amongst which you should find one named setup.exe

oh, I tried to follow your instruction but it is not scuuess. I use Extract to all then I click it but it still say same things.

SultanMan,

You may have to do as the error says, Download another copy. However before doing so:

Navigate to C:\Windows\Temp and delete every thing in this folder.
I don't know what browser you are using, but clear the caches, and delete off line temp files.
Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Local Files\Temp. Delete everything in this folder. (To see the Local Files folder you must have Show Hidden Files under Tools>Folder Options>View).
When downloading, try to use a download manager like Getright You can google for it. It does a good job of locking on the download file.
When you go to install the program, try shutting down your antivirus and firewall.

Don't really know if any will help, but I've used them in the past and did seem to help me anyway...

No Luck!! My head is headache. So I cleaned my computer and refresh. When I download from Ulead Free trial and Transfer rate is slow and it can't reach to 100 percent. only stop 15 percent. I am furious. I remember two years ago, I use VideoStudio 7 "I think" and it was no problem. I tested other download and it run fine. Ulead is only problem download. I don't know.

I agree with you on that. I have even brought that to the attention of the P.M. for VS10+ while beta testing. It was forwarded and Ulead was suppose to be looking at servers and other ways to correct their slow downloads.

It is very difficult to get a "good time" to download, when Ulead is catering to a global market, with only 1 or 2 download sites.

I don't know if you use dial-up (I hope not) or broadband, but what I have done is start the download and go to sleep for the night. Hopefully when I wake up in the morning it will be downloaded..

Last Monday, I got Ulead VideoStudio Plus 10 version, it was successfully. I like it than Roxio. I will buy it when trial done. Smile.
