Split by Scene
I'm a new videostudio 10 user. New baby on the way and I'm getting ready. I'm capturing video from my new Sony hdr-hc3. However, the option split by scene is not an option. It seems that would be a useful feature. Is it available in this set up? Any thoughts. Thanks in Advance. Marshal.

Unless things have changed in VS10 (which is of course possible -- other things have!), Video Studio normally only allows split by scene during capture when capturing to DV/AVI format. If capturing to another format e.g. mpeg (which I suspect you would be doing with a HD camera), you have to capture the whole video, then after it is captured, VS will normally allow the already captured file to be split by scene.
