The easy way.....
1. uninstall 3.5
2. Install 3.0
3. Copy the Sub-directories with the compositions to a temporary folder.
4. Uninstall 3.0
5. Install 3.5

Now you can import from the temporary folder.

Those compositions

Yes, it is some work to export and then import the little neat ones from 3.0. I found my original 3.0, reinstalled and exported the ones I wanted, but it took quite some time on the objects. Then has to reinstall 3.5 several times to get it back and it had problems finding 3.0 to uninstall during installation. But that is over and I can't recommend anything easier. Question, and upgrade to Production Studio is about 199 dollars. Is there any real reason to use Production Studio instead of 3.5? I am just a casual video user, still using VS9 also.

Obviously the more recent or major versions generally do more and possibly cost more. It's a bit like comparing VideoStudio with MediaStudio.

You have to balance whats nice to have against what is practical for your own individual needs.

Why not download the 30 day trial version to help you decide, bear in mind though that trial versions often have less content than the full version because it is only a trial.
