I am using VS8 with all the necessary patches including the latest "DST" one.
In the audio line I'm trying to make the sound of a car passing from left to right.
I followed the instructions in the manual but without great success. Has anyone a clearer explanation than the one in the manuals ?
Thanks.

I've never tried this but I would think you would start with the left channel all the way up and the right channel all the way down. You would then slowly increase the right channel until it was to the max, then you would slowly decrease the left channel. In theory that would give you the effect of a car going left to right.

I tried this while the clip was playing but the result was bad.
Maybe there is a way to do it manually, when editing the audio, by "marking" the points where the sound has to change, similarly as when I want to change the volume in a very specific section of a clip (then I just put the marks on the audio line and drag the section downwards or upwards).
Are there any VS8 experts who could confirm this ?
Thanks
