Slide Show Backgorund Music

Post by pbokros »

I am sorry if this has been asked before. If it has can I have the link? I could not find it when I tried to search.

I had DVDW2 and I would like to create a slide show that will advance after so many seconds but also give the operator control.

I can do what I want with menus but I cannot figure out how to have continuous background music.

I think I remember reading something on the old forums about a way to do it.

I realize DVDW2 is not a slide show program but none of my slideshow programs I have can be burned to a DVD and still give interactivity.

If DVDW2 cannot do this is there another program that can?

Thank you

Paul

Perhaps you should use an editor, such as MSP, to give you the flexibility you require?

You would achieve this better not by way of DVD but by way of a Powerpoint presentation.

DVD Slideshow music

Post by SPJ29 »

I created a slideshow in DVDW1 by dropping the pictures into one video slot on the storyboard and using each picture as a chapter. Then I select the background music for the new video.

The only drawback is when the picture changes either automatically or by user the music sounds like it jumps, unless you set each pictures time to the same as the music, so the music changes with each picture.

The other way you can create a slideshow is to use VideoStudio/MediaStudio to create your slideshow with/without music then drop the new video into DW2 and create chapters.
