Error [19205 7:1] Fehler bei mehrfache...(Error on preview)

Error 19205 7:1 - German error message: "Fehler bei mehrfacher Dateiwiedergabe: Kann Adiodatei nicht hinzufügen."

On XP SP1 and SP2, when I try to preview a video in the timeline with the "play" button, Video Editor will render the video and as soon as it is finished complain with error 19205 7:1. In case there is nothing to render, the VE throws up the error message immediately.

Input/Output/Project settings are DV PAL.

Seems to be a problem with the audio, but since a scanner complained about out of memory when it couldn't find the scanner on USB I don't believe anything. When I translate this error it means "Error on multiple file playback: Can't add audio file." This is rubbish, since there is only one video on the timeline with one normal 48K and scrubbing on the timeline works OK.

A have a client where this appears occasionally, and another one this week where he MSP7 throws the error on each try to preview a project via the "play" button. Thing is last installation ran perfect until I updated from SP2 to the latest patches and then ran XPlite.

Any ideas?

I haven't used XPlite but am aware that it purports to remove unused/unwanted bits of the WindowsXP Operating system.
Chances are that somthing has been deleted that shouldn't have been.

Is there an undo/restore option in XPLite?
If not try running the XP system file checker or if you have it activated
(most likely not as you're using XPLite) the System Restore Facility.

Thanks for the info. It is also possible that a Windows update "did" this. Or am I the only one with this problem?
