Creating Video Files - V9

Post by malone63 »

Okay guys/gals...Just want to clarify my process as I never used to have a problem.

There was a site listed in the "Recommended Procedure, however it' now not there. And I found it most useful !

Anyways to cut a long story short...

The video file I create has added mp3 and it appears after rendering that, the taped audio appears out of sync, never had an issue before. Also I noticed in one instance that the mp3 started from a different time frame!

The usual process I use is..they're my lads soccer games.
Only two clips cut from one!

Create a project, then in TIMELINE
Add the 2 clips, transition at start , middle, and at the end.
Text at start , middle, end.
I add 1 -3 mp3 files.
Save the project, then with this project,
I create the VIDEO File, into one MPG. (music and all)

Then withis MPG, I create a DVD, then burn.

Same process I have used all along , but now I am stumped.
I have created the video file with no added music...appears okay.
I am thinking the mp3 are causing havoc in the render process?

Quite a few people have reported similar problems when using .mp3, though often it is no audio at all. It appears there may be some incompatibility with certain mp3 codecs, and most particularly the LAME MP3 codec, which happens to be used in Nero. The only thing I can suggest is to convert your mp3s to the standard .WAV format and use those. This solution appears to have solved the great majority of other MP3 problems. Good luck!
