internal failure

i want to try this software and am triing to convince my employer that we need this but every time i try to install the trial version i get an internal failure
Error number:0x80040707

does anyone know what this is and how to get around it. i have tried installing it on multiple computers with the same result. if i cant get it to work then i cant willingly spend the money to buy something that may have a conflict with other software

try unzipping the contents to a folder (I know it's a *.exe file, but it might still unzip). If you get it to unzip, then run the setup.exe that gets extracted...
