VS10 trial always crashing

Hi all,
I am evaluating VS10 trial edition on Windows 2003 Server Standard.
It works great, but it happend to crash very often while I edit my videos.
Right now I cannot get to insert an image in a video because everytime I select "images" form the drop-down menu, VS freezes for 2 seconds and then closes. This way I cannot really import nor insert still images.
I hope someone can help me.

Please tell us something about your file format, and how you captured it. The Read This First... post at the top of the forum tells you what we need to know in order to help you.

All of my crashes have been cause by bad video files. (Sometimes a corrupt file will play-back OK, so it's not always easy to tell.)
