I found a bug in MSP 8 where using the "Speed" option on a clip causes blurring of DV files at certain intervals. I've covered that in another thread so I won't go over it here, but I'll say that switching the Media Source Option for the affected clips from "lower field" to "frame based" got rid of the problem.
However, MSP8 is not saving all of the modified Media Source Option settings, even though MSP8 recognizes that a change has been made (via the asterisk after the file name in the title bar)! Some of the clips retain their change, but most do not. This means that if I have to make modifications to a project, I have to also switch the Media Source Option back to "frame based" for each of those clips every time I want to render! I don't even need to exit MSP. Make the change, "save", create a new project, then open up the previous one. The clip that I "changed" is back to "lower field".
This is not acceptable and highly annoying.
Hopefully, Ulead will put this at one of the higher points of their "To Do" list.
MSP8 is not saving Media Source Options in projects
Does it do the same with the SP1 beta? If so, please report it according to the instructions on the download page.

Beta?
I'm not installing any beta code on my system. Nuh uh. Microsoft and others have permanently scared me away from beta service packs on production systems.Devil wrote:Does it do the same with the SP1 beta? If so, please report it according to the instructions on the download page.
If I get the chance I'll build a test system and try it out, but I didn't see anything about this issue in the list of bug fixes.
