Hidden chapter points VS10+

Post by pkcouch »

Hello,

I have just downloaded the trial version of VS10+. When authoring a DVD menu, in VS9 there was the option under "Add/Edit Chapter" to add what I call a "hidden chapter point"; a point that would not otherwise be added to a DVD's menu, but was nice to have contained within a long video for "fast forward" points. (I apoligize if "hidden chapter point" is not the correct terminology; this is what I have always referred to it as)

Did this feature get dropped from VS10+? I have found where menu items can be hidden, but they are otherwise accessible during the preview when you "mouse over" their location.

Thank you,
Paul K. Couch

This is contained in the help file within VideoStudio 10.
Activate the Help file by clicking the ? at the top right corner of the screen.
On the contents Tab expand the EDIT tree and it will be the 6th item down.

I didn't think the Help files came with the Trial version of VS10.

Don't know as I have the full version. If the help file isn't there update this post and I'll copy paste it.

Steve,

The Trial version does not contain the help file. Users can download the manual from the website.
