Anyone know why program crashes everytime I try to look at the preferences in the file menu? It wont work and I have to reload the program again.

Do you have a video file loaded when this happens? All of my crashes have been due to "bad" video files.

Please complete your system details on your profile page.
You haven't given us much to work on.
Firstly as Doug suggested you may have a corrupt video file.

If that is not the cause, how long have you had this problem.
Have you recently installed VideoStudio or has this suddenly developed.
If it is after a recent installation then try the uninstall/reinstall procedure

If on the other hand it has been working fine up until now, what has changed on your computer? new software/hardware or removed any?
Suffered any mains electricity power failures.

Thanks for fast response.

It has always done it. With or without Video file loaded (in timeline).

As it has always done it you need to follow the uninstallation guidelines in my earlier post then install again.
