Audio problems with Digital camcorder video

I am using MF v4. I captured the video from our Digital8 camcorder into the program into an AVI format (The program would not let me capture using the MPEG option). But when I went to burn it to a DVD, I got a message saying that the audio in the file was not compatible with the program, and then it aborted.

Does anyone know why I got this message and how to correct?

We need more information from you than that.
Please complete your system specicifications on your profile page.
Then please detail what settings you used in particular the audio settings.
