Yes it is. I live .2 mile outside a rural communtiy with a population of about 565. I have 1 neighbor that lives across the road. My next neighbor is about 1.5 miles south. The house immediately south of me, is vacant, the lady moved into town.

Now to put this into perspective, in this part of the country, and particularly in this community, everyone knows everyone. The Postmaster really knows everyone, and where they live. The postman does too, but for some reason has problems putting mail in the wrong mailbox, which by the way are positioned at the roadway in front of the houses. If you would ask the postman for directions to someones house, he could provide them without problems, even if the person had just moved there......

That should give you some idea about the postal service here....:)

Regarding VideoStudio 10 boxed version - can someone please tell me approximately how long it would take for this new version to become available in United States retail stores?

I'd very much like to purchase it - but $33-US is an outrageously high shipping fee from the Ulead online store.

Thank you...

Sage,

I don't believe VS is sold in retail stores. You could try the download version or try e-bay or Amazon.

I've seen boxed versions of VideoStudio 9 in CompUSA (and other stores like MicroCenter, maybe even Bestbuy or Circuit City).

I'm not sure when the VS10 Boxes will hit the shelves...

Regards,
George

Hi George,

In all my travels to big box stores, I never seen VS on their shelves, otherwise I would've purchase one & saved $12.99 on shipping.

Where in MA are you? I've been in the CompUSA in Braintree, MA and NorthAttleboro, MA -- they had Ulead products last time I visited those stores...

I'm just not sure when VS10 will hit the shelves...

George

Hey, thanks for your inputs. I'd be glad to pay $12.99 for shipping - but they were charging me $33 to ship to Hawaii, or $22 to ship to Oregon - so either way, it was too excessive.

I thought about d'loading it - will have to see what they would charge to ship the disc. I don't want to not have the install disc. I wouldn't mind having the manual on .pdf -- if it's available that way.

In the meantime, I will keep checking with Best Buy, Fry's, and whatnot!

Again, thank you

Hi George,

I work in Braintree, near the South Shore Plaza & live about 35 miles south of Braintree. I've been to the CompUSA once last year but wasn't looking at the software they carry. Next time I'll take a closer look

p.s. the sun is finally out!!!

YEA! for you, BOO! for Ulead. You should have been one of the first to get it, Ron.
