Some XviD video will be sync when you play it, but will be out of sync when you are trying to edit them or convert them.
Try http://www.xvid.org to ask for help, or use http://www.divx.com instead.
If you do not want to use DivX, you can try some other video tools to convert your XviD video to DVD complaint video first then import the DVD complaint video into DVD MF to author and burn.
Best regards,

Right! There's something wrong with your source-video file. I like to call it "sneaky corruption", because the file plays back OK. For a more technical explanation, read this. Some XviD video will be sync when you play it, but will be out of sync when you are trying to edit them or convert them.
Just like the MPEG-2 on a DVD, the audio and video are multiplexed (interwoven) in your Xvid file. This keeps them in sync. But, during the transcoding process they are demultiplexed and re-multiplexed. Now, if something goes wrong during transcoding, like a bad video-frame getting dropped, your audio and video wil be out of sync.
Note - None of the MPEG formats are designed to be re-coded. They are lossy compression algorithms. You loose quality when you convert to Xvid (or DivX), and you loose quality again when you convert it back to MPEG-2/DVD.
