I had some system error and the computer crashed and then restarted. I had the external firewire drive connected. I have had the drive set for quick removal, but it did not seem to work.
I now am not able to find the drive. It will recognize the external firewire case, but not the drive in it.
How can I recover this wedding that was almost completed???
I did save my project files on a separate drive, so if all else fails I may just have to recapture the tapes an hope that I can relink to all the files.
Would I be able to put the hard drive into another external case or connect it to a controller card in the computer so that it would be seen?
Could I do a system restore with the firewire case and hard drive connected and turned on? Would that restore it so it would recognize the drive?
Why am I and I notice others here are having problems with MSP. It keeps on crashing and losing files and not saving files. This is getting to be a huge waste of time an energy for this program. It would be nice if MSP would save all these errors so that they could be sent in so that they could be corrected. Of course then they would be recieving so many errors they may not be able to keep up with them.
Any help would be really be appretiated!!
