GIF ANIMATOR & PLUGIN QUESTION?
hi, i just wanted to know what is the newest version of gif animator & what is the size the full version...another thing is how many plugins are there for the animator & is gif-x plugin & gif-x plugin 2.0 two different plugins or is one the update of the other...thx

The latest version of GIF Animator (GA) is basically 5. It also comes with PhotoImpact, and the latest (PI 11) shows the GA version as 5.10, but I've yet heard if there is any difference at all.
As for size, for GA 5 only the download size is likely close to 10 MB last I checked. Or are you wondering about the space required on disk? The System Requirements state 20 MB of drive space... http://www.ulead.com/ga/sysreq.htm
GIF-X Plugin 2.0 is the latest version. It may be referred to as simply GIF-X plugin, but the only version available is 2.0. There are also some free plugins (see the freeware section) on this page: http://www.ulead.com/download/freegoodies.htm
Many other third-party Photoshop-compatible plugins will work in GA 5. Some work better than others.
There is also Ulead F/X for GIF Animator: http://www.ulead.com/ga/plugin.htm I've not tried that out yet myself, but perhaps someday.
