Error message with advanced audio

I'm one tiny step from completion of this christmas project. Under THEMES then SLIDESHOW then ADVANCED AUDIO SETTINGS an error message appears and shuts down my whole software....ANYONE else have this and know what I did wrong?

Latest update patch of CD/DVD PictureShow installed??

Any video/audio codec packs like XviD or Nimo installed in your system?? If so, remove them.

I repeatedly had the same problem with the advanced audio settings. sometimes it would open that feature and other times it would shut down the program. It finally got to the point that it would always shut down the program.

I solved it by completely deleteing the program, rebooting the computer. reloading the program, and rebooting the computer again.

I did that process about a week ago and have not had any problems since.
