EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED!

Post by ando775 »

I fear I may have done something very foolish.

I was having some issue with MSP 8, crashing during saves as well as random times, audio filters vanished after opening MSP 7, so I decided to uninstall and then reinstall. I downloaded the program and still have the setup files. I uninstalled and when I went to reinstall it asked me for the serial number. I have no idea what the serial number is. Is there any place I can find this info, after an uninstall? I tried checking my Ulead profile, but it isn't there. I've looked in the Ulead folders on my hard drive for a readme file or something. I even checked old eMails but to no avail. Any other ideas?

I know it must sound like I'm some kind of hacker, but I'm really not. (Didn't that sound convincing) I love MSP and have gladly paid the price, but I'd rather not pay it a second time. If anyone has any idea how I can go about finding this out PLEASE let me know. I am under the gun for a project, just to top things off.

Found it! :D

For anyone else who might have a similar problem, go to the element5 customer care page and look in "My Account." You'll have to enter the username and password used when you made the purchase, or at the very least have the eMail address you used.

It's also a good idea to save/ print and keep the e-mail from the vender somewhere safe as well as they always include download passwords words and seriel numbers, etc.
Thanks & regards.

If you register on Ulead website as a Ulead member then you can keep your product serial number online. I still can see my PEX 7 serial number in my Ulead member profile.

Hope this helps.
