V10 plus upgrade

Good evening, I am new to this forum.

I currently have version 8 of Ulead Video Studio and have ordered version 10 plus upgrade/ which in theory I should be able to pick it up tommorow morning?

Does anyone know, once I install v10plus, can I remove the old version 8?

Welcome to the forum

Yes you can uninstall version 8.

Be aware that there may be common /shared folders that may be affected and change the working of VS 10. This has occurred in the past with earlier versions.

You may have to carry out a repair to version 10.
If you feel this is the case, simply try to reinstall vs10, when prompted select ‘repair.’

Having said that there is no reason why you cannot keep both versions installed. You can only run one at a time.

Alternatively if you do wish to remove version 8.
make a note of the version 8 serial number.
Uninstall version 8 and then install version 10.
It will firstly ask you for your version 10 serial number and then it will ask you for your version 8 serial number.
