VS10 shadow on DVD menu font ?

In SHARE, CREATE disc, then while editing text it seems that VS does add a shadow onto the text font (which is good, otherwise text looks a little flat) however sometimes it seems white shadow, sometimes black, can't quite workout how it is choosing.(have moved the text around to see if it changes depending on the average background colour. but not) Any idea's on how to force it to choose a particular shade of shadow ?

Good question!

I do not think you can change the shadow, the different font and shadow appears to be associated with the template selected. You can customise each template adding your own font, changing the background etc, but I cannot find any where to edit the shadow.
Just looked at VS 9 and that is the same.

Select a template with the shadow you like and customise.
But you are right. Why can’t we edit the shadows in the menu text?

I was always bugged by the color of the buttons. On the template thumbnails the buttons seemed to be white, but when I actually chose that template sometimes they would show up green. Not good if you are using a pink template for a wedding. Hope they fixed that in 10+.
