Hollywood FX

Hi all,

I am new in this forum. I want to know that can I use Hollywood FX in MSP7 or in MSP8? If possible then how to install that and which ver of HFX can be installed? Is it also possibele to install The Hollywood FX in Ulead VideoStudio 10? Also can I install the Canopus VideoFX in MSP7 or MSP8 and in VideoStudio?

As you mentioned in the link I installed the HFX 4.5.8 Gold. But in C:\Program Files\Pinnacle\Hollywood FX GOLD\Host Plugins there is no MStudio folder and no Hfx4GLD.vfx file. Please guide me which ver of HFX can I install? And how to get the MStudio folder and Hfx4GLD.vfx file.

I have Hollywood Fx Gold 4.5.7 but this plug in should work.
Extract to "C" with use folder names selected.

It's working. But some effects are water marked with P logo. Why it is happning? Should there any way to remove the water mark? I will try fresh install to see if the water mark removed. Also do you have the plugin file for HFX5 or 5.5?

Is there any way to use Canopus VideoFX in MSP8?

I found the reason for the water mark. It is because I copied some effects from HFX5 to HFX4.5. Those effects which I copied in HFX4.5 are have the water mark. How to remove the water mark? I know that there is a tool that can remove the water mark. Can any one help me?

As far as I am aware you cannot get a version higher than Hollywood FX 4.5 to work with MediaStudio and no plug in exists.

If you stick to Version 4.5 then you dont get a watermark.
By importing transitions from another version the program is telling you that you haven't purchased those extra transitions and requires you unlock them with a licence number.

The HFX4Gld.vfx results in license errors for me. I assume because I have HFX Plus rather than Pro. Does anyone have the HFX plus host plugin file for MSP? I only have the AfterFX & Studio Host plugins in the HFX folder.
