Coupon Code for Dropshots.com Subscribtion: XXXXXXX
Terry,
A Patch for activation code sounds like a very constructive suggestion! I think you should forward this to Ulead ASAP.

I have been considering several ways to parse the activation code above. Perhaps the colon followed by a space is part of the code...

BTW, I scanned the emails for mention of "Dropshots.com" - did not notice any other reference. Maybe the entire phrase "Dropshots.com Subscribtion: XXXXXXX" is the activation code...

Even better would be to have an Activation Code for the Patch, to prevent unauthorized people from applying the Patch.

In truth, I suspect that the license key will end up being displayed on either the CD or the box itself. I can't resist having a gentle dig at Ulead from time to time, it rewards me for all the wasted hours fighting with their early products.

No license key either on any of the 3 emails I received (sigh). I'm just glad the software works better than the support staff.

It's because VS 10 Plus Chinese version is not ready yet. Ulead will start to sell UVS 10 in Taiwan when the Chinese version is ready.

Hope this helps.

I replaced the code number with X's, if indeed it was the licence key.
The coupon code for DropShots.com is been used for this:

http://www.ulead.com.tw/ulead/UDNews/pr ... leases.htm

and this:

http://activity.ulead.com/us/events/dropshots/runme.htm

It will give you a chance to try DropShots.com online video sharing.

Thanks HT, I was only making an observation, actually my Chinese is so terrible that I could never use a Chinese version anyway! I think I'll wait for the English boxed version!

They did state that your were purchasing the product, not just ordering.

Hi Jeff,

True, but in most instances when a product is not available, your credit card only gets charged when the product is received & shipped from the vendor. :?
iMac AIO (late 2012)
Windows 7 (bootcamp)
VS Pro X3
8gb RAM

I've actually experienced it both ways. Guess it depends on the vendor.

Courier charge

I know this is a little off topic but - I can't believe that Ulead expect us to pay either $49 (post) or $125 (courier company) for delivery to Australia - that is outragous for just a box of software. It's not like it is a heavy item like a TV or a Fridge or something - it's a little box. Absolutely unbelievable.

I ended up getting VS10 plus upgrade from a supplier in another State for postage of $15 (courier) with a guarantee of delivery by next Monday.

FWIW, it's not even a box, but an envelope (not padded either). It's a wonder the disks weren't damaged in transit. :?
