Hi Ron,

I live in the USA, and my invoice has the publisher in Taiwan and the seller in Germany.

Well certainly ours in the UK whilst ordered via the .co.uk website are shipped by Element 5 in Germany - I had always assumed that Element 5 had a USA office as well but perhaps not - maybe Germany ships worldwide.

Yes, I also ordered this morning. VS10+ is "out of stock" and will ship when available. More waiting.

There's an Element office in Eden Praire, MN (USA). I'm thinking it will be shipped from overseas. The shipping was $12.95.

If anyone has already received their box version, please let us know.

Thanks.......

I ordered my boxed upgrade this morning. However, there was no LICENSE KEY (supposed to be "listed below") printed on the invoce. The invoice states that this KEY is required to ACTIVATE VS10+!!!

Has anyone received this LICENSE KEY?

I was sent two different emails from Element after I had place the order.

You should've received an email with the subject matter as "License key for Ulead VideoStudio 10 Plus (Upgrade/Box) - English (element 5 Ref #: XXXXXX)"

Part of the message will also state:
The license key for "Ulead VideoStudio 10 Plus (Upgrade/Box) - English" is
listed below. You will need this license key to complete the process and
activate the product. The license key and the text below originate from the
software publisher and may be written in another language.

Coupon Code for Dropshots.com Subscribtion: XXXXXXX

I replaced the code number with X's, if indeed it was the licence key.

Well that explains why it is taking so blasted long. The product has to go on vacation, or holidays first. It leaves Taiwan with its first stop in Germany. Then after enjoying the beer and other amenities, it must return to Taiwan, so that it can recover, and be instructed where it may go next. However those instructions are kept in tight security back in Germany. So it departs Taiwan once again for Germany.
Now at Element 5 in (Eden Prairie MN, USA) an important communication is received that some people are in dire need of VS10+. So a courier is dispatched to Germany, to retreive VS10+, complete in it's little box. However due to weather and generally flight delays, this coporate Cessna 150, is having extreme difficulties making the return flight....

Will it make it back?? or Will it get lost over the ocean??? Will those helpless soles ever get there boxes of VS10+? :)

Ok I'm bored...:)

Given that post and the other one referring Monopoly I would say, yes Ron, you are bored!
Even stranger than the phantom wandering boxed versions is the fact that the Ulead site here in Taiwan still has no mention of the existence of VS10 in any form whatsoever! They are still merrily trying to sell VS9 at full price!

Well, this sentence is certainly a masterpiece of obfuscation and misdirection, which tops off Ulead's non-stellar history of screwing up downloads, installations, updates, and plugins - (not to mention, perpetuating several operational traps for new users). :D

Don't worry, John, they'll issue a patch for the License Key and a quilt for the product!

As an FYI, as stated earlier, I ordered the box version this morning.

Although the box version will be shiped as soon as supplies arrive, my credit card has already been billed without the product being shipped.

They did state that your were purchasing the product, not just ordering.
The following product is currently not in stock. You can, however, purchase this product today, and it will be shipped to you as soon as it is available again.
