How do you change the background color of a page

I opened a new page with a white background, but now I want to replace it with another solid color. How do I do this?

If you haven't placed anything on the page, use the Fountain Fill Tool, select the color you want and fill the page.

If you are talking about the creation of a Web Page, right click on the page to bring up a Menu List and select the item named Web Properties. On the Web Properties dialog box click on the tab named Background. On the contents of the dialog box find the attribute named Color with a small colored box to the right. Click on the colored box to change the background color of the Page.

If you are talking about an image, create a new document with a new color and then from the old document copy the objects to the new one. Otherwise, use the Magic Wand Tool, and select all of the contents of the background and change to the color you want. On the other hand, you can use the Color Replacer tool.

You can also select the background using the Pick Tool and pressing Ctrl+F (or select Edit | Fill on the main menu).

But only if you have not merged any objects to the background. Merged objects will be covered by the fill color.
