My post has two questions.
I bought ULead Movie Wizard from Circuit City and I have had a hard time with it. My biggest complaint is that I can't save my work. It appears as if I have to build and CREATE a movie, all in one session. Once a movie has been created, Movie Wizard can't edit it and allow you to make changes.
If I want to make a movie, and work on the movie for several days, how do I save my work in progress? The Movie Wizard is easy to use with regards to creating the actual movie file, but it won't let me save the movie while I am building it. How can I save the movie file while I am working on it so that I can continue my work on the movie on another day?
If I can't do that, then how do I get a refund for this software? If I cannot save my work, then I paid $40.00 for software that is unuseable. I can't believe that anyone would fine that acceptable.
When you are creating a Word document, do you type it in and print the document in one session without saving it to be able to edit it later? Of course not!
Is there a patch or an upgrade that I can download, FOR FREE, that will fix/complete this software?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Doug

As Jean-Pierre says it is very dificult to understand your question because as far as we all know Movie Wizard is an integral part of Ulead VideoStudio and cannot be bought seperately.
Very few people appear to actually use it because it is far to basic and does not allow very much creativity - I think the object of it is that you should produce a video on disk very quickly with no creative editing. so it may not offer you the chance to save - I've never used it for long enough to find out.
If you want to do proper editing adding titles and music etc. then use the full version of VideoStudio - which is quite possibly what you have - and you can then save at regular intervals and close and open the programme as much as you want - try looking around in your programme and reading the manual.
As to whether your entitled to a refund - that's something between you and your retailer.

Thank you guys for your replies. I purchased it at Circuit City and I assure you it is NOT the Ulead VideoStudio application. It is only the Movie Wizard, which apparently must be a part of Ulead VideoStudio.
I agree with you. It is useless with just this piece of the software. I am very upset with this.
I did get a reply from the support staff. Their response was, "I'm very sorry but Ulead Movie Wizard does not support project saving". The fact that the software does not support project saving completely shocks me. How can anyone use software that won't let you save your work?
I feel I've been really screwed here. I inquired about a refund, but I doubt that I will receive one.
Anyway,
Thank you for your replies.
