VS10 Initial Observations

Hello all. Long time no post

I've had to defect for a while because my projects required multiple timelines and now, by accident I happened onto the Ulead website to find VS10.

I hope my post is not to early in the life of VS10, but already I'm considering upgrading from 9. How does this program fair overall in terms of stability? Better, worse, same?

There is an issue with VS10 and Hauppage capture devices.

I also can NOT capture in VS 10 with my Plextor PX-M402U,
which seems funny, since it came bundled w/ VS 8 SE and worked.
I submitted a help request to ULEAD support almost 2 weeks ago.
Haven't heard a word back.

Hardware capture devices that come bundled with software usually have special drivers written to enable the capture. Subsequent upgrades of the software don't necessarily mean that they will be able to still capture from the hardware device. A new driver might be needed (either provided by the software company, or the company that made the hardware device).
