Has anyone figured out how to use the Ad-Zapper function in VS10+? I recorded a 30 minute TV show on my PVR. I created a new project and loaded the video to the Timeline. I chose Multi-trim Video, then clicked Ad-Zapper with High Sensitivity. The status bar went to 100% and finished, but nothing happened. I scolled through the video and the ads were all there, as the video length was still 30 minutes. Did I miss a step? Am I doing something wrong? I though this would be a neat way to record a movie and then strip the ads and make a quick DVD.

Sorry to say but so called ad-zappers are not something new, they are simply another name for scene change detection where major changes to the video such as going from light to dark etc are detected.
If Television companies ever placed some magic code in their TV broadcasts to say "Adverts begin" "Adverts End" then I doubt if they would raise much revenue from the advertising companies!
Your best bet is to remove them manually.
