WILL NOT LOOP!

Post by PhilG »

Hi!

I'm using VideoStudio 10.

Even though I checked the box in project settings for:
Auto repeat when disk playback ends
the created film will not loop.

Now guys, someone somewhere must be able to tell me what I am doing wrong.

Any other settings I must correct in order for it to loop?

Help is needed

Thank you

No that is the only setting.
Perhaps you need to describe to us your workflow to see if we can spot anything obvious.

I too am having the same problem. I think it may be a bug in the program that needs to be fixed. This feature is important to me, as I'm making a slide show that needs to run all day long. Is there a workaround while waiting for the bug to fix?

Sorry to sound repetitive

OK, my workflow. I am recreating the steps as I write this posting.

I am going to make my slide show print to CD. I go to the "Share" tab and hit "create Disc" The next screen, I change to VCD, as I only have a CD burner. In project settings, I see that the Auto repeat box is already checked, so I hit OK. It also has, do not convert compliant MPEG files checked.

Wait...I just saw something I never saw before...a screen that asks me to name a title page, with a picture of the first picture of the slide show. This didn't happen the many other times I tried to do this.

What I just did differently was...instead of going directly to "create disc" from creating the movie, I opened VS fresh. In the library on the top was a thumbnail of my slide show. I dragged it onto the story board, so now it is just one movie, not separate slides or clips.

Now, I wonder why it worked this time, and not the other way of doing it. I guess this is the workaround that I was looking for. I hope this helps someone else.
