Autoplay/Repeat play of slideshow

Post by dkwdkw »

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to have my slideshow bypass the menuing and just start playing, then when it reaches the end, start over again.

Anybody have a method to make this happen?

On the "Add Media" Screen below the 4 icons at the top left you have a check box "Create menu" - uncheck it.
In Project settings you have an option to Auto repeat when playback ends

Having trouble finding the "add media" screen. When I open the program, I have File and Help pulldowns, then tabs 1 thru 3 which are Organize, Theme, and Burn. Where do I find the "add media" screen?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave,

I hope I haven't overlooked something but the "add media" screen might be applicable to a previous version of PictureShow, having been replaced by the "1 Organize" tab in Version 4. PS4 includes the "continue to play next clip" option but I believe the menu is always created by default. As a workaround you could output your slideshow as a video file (option available on the "3 Burn" tab) and then burn it with an app that doesn't require a mandatory menu. A few that come to mind are Ulead MovieFactory 4 & 5, Intervideo DVD Copy 4, and VSO ConvertX (the latter being the least costly).
