right, i have probably over 5000 different scenes of video stored on my computer - now i can acces them in wondows media player if i really want to, but i prefer to do so on ulead so i can edit them.
now, (this has happened twice now so i am annoyed) when i go on ulead every single thumbnail for every single scene no longer links to what it is supposed to, instead it is linked to nothing. basically, i lose all my work which is sometimes days.
going through the various scnes and re-linking them is not an option either as that would take hours and hours so is something im not willing to do. so basically, im looking for an answer as to why this has happened (i have not changed any file names or moved any of the video clips) and a way to stop this from happenin again. i am using ulead videostudio 7.

I am testing VS10 and a similar thing (I think) happened to me. I renamed the files and VS10 asked me to re-link them, which I did and everything was fine. After a short time the thumbnail changed from a screen shot to a black X on white. Clicking on the thumbnail resulted in an error (Insufficient memory) and trying to delete the thumbnail resulted in a program crash. So, I'm basically stuck with two big X's on my library.
If someone knows how to remove those images let me know.
