VSP files from VS7 not recognixed by VS9

I started a project in VS7 but never finished it. I then installed VS9 and now it cannot recognize the old VSP files. All my video files are on a separate physical HD from my system drive in which I just did a clean install of windows and put in VS9. Must I now go back to VS7 to finish the project?

Exactly what happens? Are you sure Videostudio is complaining about the VSP files, and not some of the assets that were in the project? If you reinstalled Windows, you may simply be missing a codec that was previously present.

THoff, Thanks, I had forgotton that my drives had ben re-lettered when I partitioned one of them and all I had to do was re-link to the actual drive location of the files. Sorry
