I have read that burning a slideshow as VCD on normal CD would allow it to be seen on all dvd players. I have tried doing this but it tells me that this failed although I have done it successfully with picture show 2 except that the images flicker a bit. The resolution of the pictures are 1024x768
could this be the cause of the flickering.
Can soneone help and tell me why can'it burn on a CD

Regarding your VCD burning problem, if you are using the registered version (NOT trial version) of PS4, try downloading and installing the patch at:

Regarding "flickering" problem, PS4 includes an anti-flicker filter. If you haven't already enabled it, launch the program and go to: File > Preferences > Output Setting (tab) and tic the "Apply anti-flickering filter" box. Hopefully this will help.
