Anyone know if its possible within MSP8 to do this effect for slideshows?
1) You have 1 picture
2) Slowly zoom out of that 1 picture
3) And it reveals that the 1 picture is amongst a group of several pictures
4) Zoom out some more
5) To reveal that all those pictures are part of one gigantic picture.
I'm pretty sure it's an effect that's built into an NLE because i've noticed from other work i've seen that when there's the 'zoom out to reveal several pictures' that those other pictures are not always consistent with the first '1 picture' or the 'gigantic picture'. What I mean is if the '1 picture' is of say "Jessica Ann'....the multiple pictures show 'Jessica Ann' AND 'some random other people and scenes' and then it zoomeso out to form 'Jessica Ann' again. The zoom out from the multiple pics into the gigantic picture is so quick ( I believe on purpose) though that most people will not notice.
Any one have any clue how to do this amazing effect?
Picture->Zoom out->Multiple Pics->Zoom out More = 1
Sure. This can be done in MSP. First of all, you will want to create your compilation of photos within your devoted photo editor. This way you can get creative with each picture, examples: torn edges, transparent tape, drop shadows, etc... Now save and import image into MSP. Set your total duration. Now using Moving Path 3D you can set the keys for any movement along XYZ axis. * Only problem is the 16 key limitation. To get past this, one workaround is to use either the cropping 2D or Pan&Zoom filter. Personally, this is much easier to attain using Ulead COOL3D. One can actually model each object and apply photo texture, thumbtacks, etc... and position, rotate and scale the whole grouping with the use of keys.
PM me and I'll send you a quick sample I did in less than 10 minutes.
