VS9 text effects?

Post by Xp4nd3r »

Hi,

I was just wondering, does VS9 have any text effects? like the text entering like blood dropping, are shining or anything, just an effect? That would be nice.

Also, if you have a video part, from lets say game and recorded it, and you want to quickly zoom a part in (like teh crosshair where you are shooting at in a game) and then zoom out again, how do you do that?

Thanks in advance

You can have text MOVE, and select all kinds of fancy FONTS (including one with dropping blood), but you can't have EFFECTS on the text.
However with VS9 you get Cool3D SE 3.0 and with that you can do 3D objects with any movement and textures you like and then import that as overlay in VideoStudio.

There is a zoom function that allows you to zoom from 100 to 1000% as fast as you like, and pan the video too.

Yeah I know, but that was not my question. I was asking if I could zoom it in, stay for a few seconds, and then soom out again, all while playing the movie.

Um, that was your original question and Daniel answered it very clearly. :?

When you have your video clip selected, add the Pan/zoom video filter then click on customize to define position speed etc.

No, as I said you can zoom 100 to 1000% (an SD video at 1000% is U-G-L-Y)
You could use Distort to size the video smaller, but that is static, you can't have a changing factor.
