problem creating dvd compliant file

Post by kat444 »

Nature of the problem: Trying to create DVD compliant file so I burn my DVD picture show onto a disc. When I go to share>create video file it will allow me to make a filename and then begins to create file, "create file, 0% complete" then "renderfing file, press esc to abort" then it stops. Am I doing something wrong in this step? Is it because I have a trial version?

Output format (file, DVD, VCD, SVCD): DVD

PAL or NTSC: NTSC

Error Codes (if any): I was getting the "problem converting" which is why I found out I needed to create a video file. Now, I just can't create a video file.

Thanks

Hi Kat,

In most cases it shouldn't be necessary to manually create a DVD compliant video file in order to burn your slideshow however (as far as I know) the ability to do so is NOT a restriction of the trial version. So this would be something to look into but for now here's a procedure that might allow you to use the standard disc burning method. I'm not positive it will work with the trial version but I don't see why not...

Download the "3617246" zip archive from http://ftp.ulead.com/Silent/ULCDRDrv/3617246.zip and save it to your desktop.
Extract the contents to a folder and delete all of the files except LXDVDParser.dll

Then do the following:

1) C > Program Files > Common Files > Ulead Systems > DVD (directory folder)
2) Delete the existing LXDVDParser.dll and replace it with your new LXDVDParser.dll file
3) Re-launch PS4 and try to burn your slideshow using the standard method (in other words don't create a DVD compliant file... just burn your DVD)

NOTE: If this works and you decide to purchase the full version of the program you would first have to uninstall the trial. Then when you install the full version perform the above procedure again.

Good luck :-)
