I have recently have brought a upgrade for Video studio 8 as my excisiong one is Se version which came from hardwarepackage.problem is loading it in I deleted the old se version but when I loaded the upgrade in I got three messages
1 Please wait while setup searches your hard disc for Ulead products then
next message comes up
2 setup cannot find any Ulead products on your hard drive.Please indicate
the location of your Ulead products,setup disc or CD.
I select c drive but when selected it then deselects itself?then next
message comes up
3. This is a upgrade version it will require a previously installed version
of at least one of the following applications
Video studio 4.0 or above series
Video toolbox series
DVD Moviefactory series
of which I have DVD Moviefactory 3se so i am not sure why Video studio8
upgrade will not install any help in this problem would be great

Just stick the VS 8 SE disc in one of your optical drives (e.g. DVD ROM, CD-ROM/burner; or DVD burner drive) and point the installation program at that drive when it asks about the previous version. You don't have reinstall SE. And IIRC, the set-up program might actually find the SE disc if you have it already in a drive when you start the upgrade installation.
