VideoStudio 10 question

I've been a user of VideoStudio in the past but downloaded the trial version of the new upgrade to see if it was worth buying.

I have hit a problem however.

I recently took some video on vacation and wanted to make a DVD using the video I grabbed with my camera. Using my capture card I have uploaded and edited up the video and made this part of my project turns out real nice. I also made some images sized 720x546 and decided to incorporate those as well using some photos into the video. However when I create the DVD these images I have created turn out real ugly and are very poor quality. Given that they have been created in the PNG and JPEG formats (I tried and tested both) and using the correct resolution size it's weird how they emerge to look so horrible.

Is there something I am missing and if so can you give me any hints as to what ?

Hi Andy

I would capture my video to Dv-Avi via a firewire connection.
I would resize my images to the same as my video frame size (720 x 576 for pal)
After editing I would render the project to Dv-Avi producing one file.
I would re-render the new file to Pal-Dvd and then use this file to burn a dvd.
I would create a Dvd TS folder to my hard drive to check the quality before burning a disc.

So where are you, are you pal or ntsc.?
What were your capture properties?
What were your Share Create Disc properties?
